When current CEO, Eddie LeVian’s father came to the United States of America, he started his own business. He didn’t want to become just another jeweler. He was always interested in single-source gems, so he started his business by importing Persian turquoise. That was back in 1970. He started importing around 2 million carats per year until the source became extinct.

Next, he chose to deal in tanzanite. In the 1980s he sent his son to Tanzania to make a deal with the miners for the blue-violet gem that was found in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. He quickly became the top importer of tanzanite.

Their latest trending stones are the Chocolate Diamonds® that are selling like hot cakes even though they are not as common as other colored stones.


Eddie LeVian has been in this business for the last forty years. Before he joined the family business, he was contemplating whether to do something else or not.
